Ville Siekkinen is the Area Manager for Surface boom drills, covering North and South America and North Europe support from factory in Finland. His role consists of application, strategic and sales support functions for front line sales. Ville was educated in Mechanical engineering and Sales and Marketing in Tampere University, and he has worked with heavy equipment since 2011 with full decade in rock drilling.

Before his current position, Ville held roles in rock drilling business as sales manager for DTH and exploration drilling for both consumables and capital equipment, Key Account Manager for large open pit mines with mixed method drilling fleets and as Business Line Manager for rock drilling tools and hydraulic attachments over four different countries. His previous positions have given him the opportunity to work with varied challenges and customer stretching from mom-and-pop shops consumables sales to continent wide mining companies’ automation projects.

Ville is married with two children, and a dog and house to look after. His favorite way to spend free time involves great outdoors: hiking, cycling, fishing and more.
